Cancellation and Refund Policy: Events, Workshops, and Academies

After you have registered for an event, workshop, or academy, no refunds are available for any reason. Participants withdrawing ten (10) or more business days prior to an event, workshop, or academy for which a fee has been paid may elect to put their payment on hold for six (6) months from the date of cancellation and choose another service of equal value. Replacement services must be selected at the time of withdrawal. The payment will be credited to the new service. If the participant does not register for a new service within the six (6) month hold period, no refund will be issued. No refunds or credits shall be provided for withdrawals made within ten (10) business days. Participants will be invoiced the full cost for no-shows. If the SHIELD Mentor Program needs to cancel an event, workshop, or Academy, participants will be notified prior to the day of the scheduled program and the SHIELD Mentor Program will issue refunds to all participants registered for that program within two (2) weeks of the cancellation date. All deposits will be refunded IN FULL if a workshop is canceled due to low enrollment, instructor scheduling conflicts, or causes beyond our control. The SHIELD Mentor Program reserves the right to cancel events, workshops, or academies that do not meet minimum registration requirements.
