Meet Mackenzy

1.) How did you get involved with mentoring?

It started off as a requirement for a class but once I got all the hours I needed I realized that I had a huge passion for it.

2.) How does being a mentor assist you in your everyday life?

It allows me to always look at my decisions from a different perspective. Would a role model do this or would they do that?

3.) What steps are you taking beyond mentoring to help those in your community?

I'm trying to spread my passion for music within the community by teaching music lessons here and there and also sharing the importance of furthering your education to those who aren't exactly sure about college.
