Meet Quentella

1.) How did you get involved with mentoring?

I became involved in mentoring in 2015 with an organization name We do it 4 the Hood . Also , when I was younger I had an mentor that inspired me to help the youth.

2.) How does being a mentor assist you in your everyday life?

Being a mentor keeps me updated on what is going on with the youth and how it is possible for me as mentor to help them cope with everyday life. Being a mentor serves as one of many positive impacts I plan on making on the youth.

3.) What steps are you taking beyond mentoring to help those in your community?

I do my best at keeping my environment clean and safe. I plan on having fund raisers and different events to support my community. I attend North Carolina A&T and I major in psychology where I wish to become a family psychologist.
